"The work I am involved in with Recovery Café is hard but rewarding.  Educating people with lots of money that there are others of us in our world who need to be carried and supported is a tricky undertaking. It seems it starts with each of us understanding the necessity of being on a spiritual path and then taking that on daily.  But that usually doesn't happen for us humans until a tragedy occurs. And sometimes a tragedy just takes us further away from ourselves. In the case of those of us with money and power, this is an even graver problem because we tend to use those things to cocoon us from our true sources of pain. Money and power enable us to hang out in denial a lot longer.  The ability to see that we are all connected becomes dimmer. " -Emmy
