Volunteer Opportunities at Recovery Café
Our wonderful volunteers help hold the spirit of the Recovery Cafe by nurturing a sense of loving community and a culture of recovery. Opportunities abound for people who feel called to share their time and gifts with the Recovery Café Community:
Ministers of Presence Program
Ministers of Presence offer an open heart and listening ear to uplift and support our Members and find themselves uplifted and supported in the process. Weekly two-hour shifts are available Tuesdays through Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Ministers of Service Program
The kitchen is fun! Ministers of Service work side by side with Member volunteers preparing our meals and washing dishes. These shifts are available Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Open Mic Hosts
Organize your faith community, school or group of friends to share the amazing gifts of cooking and serving as you provide a dinner for 100+ people attending Open Mic night. These evenings are one of the best ways Members introduce others to our community. Open Mics occur on the third Saturday of every month and are highly anticipated nights full of entertainment with delicious meals to enjoy in community.

Help capture the essence of the Café by photographing our activities, Members and events for internal and external publication.
