Join Us in Nurturing This Powerful Community

Recovery Café is a community where we each come to know ourselves as loved and as instruments of love in the world. It is a community built on the contributions and talents of many individuals, including you.

Donate

The Recovery Café approach works. Ninety percent of Recovery Café members report that our supportive community has helped them maintain sobriety. Through our community and programs, our members are able to lay a foundation of recovery on which they can build for the rest of their lives. Donate online or attend our annual event, Standing in the Gap.

A Meaningful Investment in Our Community

The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) estimated the total economic costs of alcohol and drug abuse in Washington State at $5.21 billion in 2005, a 105% increase over 1996. This represents $832.00 for every non-institutionalized resident in the state, an inflation-adjusted per capita increase of over 47% over 1996. These costs include hospital care for disease, injuries, and death classified as alcohol or drug related, crime, lost worker productivity, and services for children victimized by substance abuse and neglect. Prevention, treatment and ongoing recovery radically reduces these costs, as well as the costs in human suffering.

Attend an Ecumenical Worship Service - New Creation Community
